Virtual Screening at the Blastoff Film Festival!
Back again with another post from our festival run! And this time I have something very special to share!
“Down the Road” has been selected to be part of a virtual screening! And a very creative virtual screening at that! The festival is called “BLASTOFF”, and it is being hosted in a fully explorable 3D space on a virtual platform called “Decentraland”. Sounds kind of like a video game, right? Well, in a way it is! It’s a fun and unique way to showcase these films and I’m happy I could be a part of it!
And now, without further ado, let me take you on a little tour…
Here’s virtual me standing in front of the theater, the “Star Cinema”.
And another image of just the theater itself.
A clickable sign for the festival.
And now we enter.
The lobby, with posters of all the films.
Wait a minute… is that…?
My “Down the Road” poster!
We then make our way past the concession stand and into…
The theater! Very cool!
Now to find our perfect seat…
A menu allows us to select and start the films.
And the movie begins!
A very fun and unique experience. Shout out to Rowan Sutherland and Blastoff Film Festival for creating such a cool online festival! I am honored to be a part of it!
The films will be streaming from now till March 14 at 6:00 pm.

As always, looking forward to posting more as it comes in!
